Why is 2027 a 'Po Sui' (Breaking the Tai Sui) year for those born in 1988?

Per Chinese astrological convention, the Po Sui relationship occurs when a person's birth-year Earthly Branch (Chen for 1988) forms a destructive clash with the current year's Earthly Branch (Wei for 2027), as defined in the twelve-branch cycle.

What does 'Da Lin Mu' (Great Forest Wood) signify for wealth in 2027?

In traditional interpretation, Da Lin Mu (the 1988纳音) is nourished by Water; the 2027纳音 Tian He Shui (Heavenly River Water) is therefore supportive — suggesting wealth avenues linked to flow, distribution, or adaptive structures rather than rigid accumulation.

Is there any directional taboo for financial activity in 2027 for the 1988 Dragon?

Yes: the San Sha (Three Killings) falls in the West for 2027, and classical almanac guidance advises caution in initiating major financial actions — such as contract signings or loan applications — facing that direction. ---
