Why is 2027 considered the first ben ming nian for those born in 2015?

In the Chinese lunar calendar system, ben ming nian occurs when the zodiac animal of the birth year recurs — 2015 was Yi Wei (Wood Goat), and 2027 is Ding Wei (Fire Goat), making it the first full-year alignment.

What does 'double Wei Earth harmony' mean for the 2015 cohort in 2027?

The native year pillar is Yi Wei, and the 2027 pillar is Ding Wei; the matching Wei branches form a zhi he (branch harmony) — a configuration traditionally associated with inner steadiness and relational grounding.

How does the Tian He Shui (Heavenly River Water) nayin interact with the native Sha Zhong Jin (Sand-in-the-Metal)?

Tian He Shui nourishes and softens Sha Zhong Jin, a dynamic traditionally linked to heightened environmental sensitivity — especially to dampness — and a gentle, reflective temperament during the year. ---
